A Veteran's Life
The United States of America has become just a land for others.
At one time, America was known as the melting pot. Humans all around the world came to America for a better life. The wanted to live and be Americans. The test for that life most here would not pass. Now the pride to be American has been lost.
Because we all stop the melting pot.
The term When in Rome do as Roman do. Women must cover their head and go by that country's laws.
America has or will not make people conform to the ways of America.
Because of the country they come from some still keep the dress, customs, and way of life. The language of Spanish has become second to English. Now America should have classes in Spanish so we will be able to talk in English.
There was a time newcomers to America stopped the ways of that country. It was said to go back to that country if you wanted to live in that way.
As earlier, when in Rome do as Romans do. Now come to America and we will change our ways so you won't need to.
That is how the United States of America has become just America. How are we rude because of American ways? Most of America finds that difficult to believe.
The Flag of the United States can be burned, called racist; some parts of the country won't even have the American flag displayed. There are people saying it offends and hurts to see the flag.

14 June 1777 Continental Congress adopted the Stars and Stripes official flag.
The untold lost lives for that flag will never be known. From 1777 to this date many people gave a pledge to Honor and Defend that flag. Yes they knew their life may end defending the flag. Yet to this day people still join to keep the United States of America Flag and Country #1 in the world.
